Gun violence is a pressing public health concern in America, affecting over 17,000 children who are injured from a firearm each year. Beyond this, exposure to gun violence is a prevalent issue posing a health concern to children. Classifying gun violence as an adverse childhood experience may create further pathways to funding and interventions to prevent exposure to gun violence in younger populations. Read more here!
